Threats of violence

Involving firearms or weapons made by students to other students or to school employees are to be taken seriously and must also be dealt with in a determined manner. Parents are to be notified and there may be a need for police involvement. Appropriate discipline might include assignment to detention, suspension, or expulsion depending on the nature and severity of the threats.
